A proximity key (also named Keyless Go, Push Button Start.Keyless Access.Keyless Entry, Push-to-Start or Smart Key) is a computerized device that permits a keyless entrance and push start ignition in your vehicle.
When driver is within the admissible distance, the smart key communicate using radio frequency waves with your auto to lock and open car doors and even to crank the car engine with the key in the pocket.
30 years ago, Mercedes-Benz was the first company to present this system in the market.
